This is a very beautiful love song from the movie Love Birds. Rahman's music those days were at the peak that this movie which had nothing except music was able to survive.
The song was originally sung by Chithra and Hariharan. Chithra's gel voice and hariharan's modulation make this song extraordinary. I also like this song for the instruments used by Rahman. Even though there are beats in the interludes, the Mandolin usage inbetween is a great mix. The classical and western music blend is at its best.
With Valentine's day striking millions of lovable hearts tomorrow, this is a song for them :-) . HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.
