Everyone should possess a style when it comes to being successful in cinema. Following others would just lead to nowhere. Atleast, it would make some mark so that one could remember in the future. Lets see some cine figures(not college figure) who are still recognized for their mere style. Ofcourse, when it comes to style, lets first start with Super Star.

His fast talking and walking is a trademark.
Running fingers through his hair (Well, not possible now. But pannaalum naanga paapomae :-)

His cyring is a trademark (i mean something like nayagan, mahanadhi type)
For an actor like kamal, he has definitely tried hard not to classify himself into a pattern. So kamal is just an exception from others.
3. Sathyaraj
His nakkal talking approach was simply new to tamil cinema and he is the king in that.
His ennammaa kannu is a trade mark.
4. Raghuvaran
His slow talking with stress to his words. (like -> I know I know I know, hey hey hey)
5. Goundamani
Totally a different comedian compared to anyone in the industry.
He yells a lot but it has been well accepted because of his modulation.
Leg kicking, Dei dakalti thalaya, Barota thalaya are all his trademark
6. Senthil
Playing low profile and being successful is very tough. Somehow, Senthil managed to do it.
A perfect combo with Goundamani
Annaee Annaee is his trademark

11. Chinni Jayanth
His haaaaaaan, some thaminglish dialogues(gummfaa ka gumm) is a trademark
12. Vivek
Another rocker in tamil cinema right now.
His message oriented comedy approach is by itself a trademark.
His crying like dialogue delivery (though might look like raththak kanneer m.r.radha) is also his trademark.
13. Sivaji Ganesan
A massive performer.

His double meaning dialogues are the next best after V.K.Ramasaamy

His Chellam, Chellam has become a trademark.
OK, the list can be never ending. Even Loose mohan has a style (onnium onnium moonu type), Thengai seenivaasan (Jabukku jakaan jikkaan type) etc., Namitha also got a trademark. She loses all the dresses frequently with that innocent paappa look.

Few years back was trying Kamal, Rajini Shivaji and Raghuvaran... so konjam konjam varum... ramba naal aasai to do mimicry :)

this is a 10 much... what a otrumai... enakku eppavume aasai mimicry thaan.. one of the best way to make others laugh and something which is very very difficult for the performer. enga college professors maathiri konjam konjam varum :-)

Kittu, you have captured the trademark of every actor in the list so well. You post shows how individuality can make someone successful. It's true that Kamal has never created a trademark for himself, for his itention would be the trade mark of the character rather than of himself. Enjoyed the post.

romba correeect. but telugula dhaanae oru dancum rousum..adhaan vijayku porundhum...he is the only good dancer in tamil recently..vera aalae illayae...
