This is the best song that i consider when it comes to Mohan, SPB & Illayaraja combination. I also feel that this would be the most heard song in the 80's. Mohan was simply gifted to have been involved with all of the great melodies that Raja has given to him. He does not even know to speak tamil and i used to wonder how Illayaraja had that soft corner for him to give such massive hits.

Now hear it in Kittu mama's voice.

    I agree that Ilaiyaraja has given great melodies to Mohan's films. Also, the director R.Sundarrajan combination with Mohan and Ilaiyaraja was another hit. It is sad good directors like him and Manivannan are into acting now. By the way you have come closer to SPB in this song. Good improvisation.

    "பெண்ணே"ன்னு pitch raise பண்ணி பாடும் போது மட்டும் இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் நல்லா செய்து இருக்கலாம்.. (அந்த இடத்துல மட்டும் தான் என்னவோ சரி இல்லாத மாதிரி இருந்துது.. தப்பா எடுத்துக்காதீங்க..)

    Nilave va is a great song. Did you hear the song "mandram vandha"'s hindi version in Cheeni kum? Thats when I realized it was not just IR that did the magic. It was SPB for the awesome rendition.
