Illayaraja's ponmaalaip pozudhu music is still super fresh. Infact Vairamuthu's first song in film is this one. Splendid lines. With Raja's violin and SPBs voice, it certainly elevates the song to the skies. What a song. Where is the Raja that created wonders, now?? I'm definitely missing this kind of music in present day world.
Next is illayanila pozigiradhae. Raja's guitar in this song is the real highlight. The song ends with Raja himself playing the guitar. Could you believe that he came from a village after hearing his finishing touches in the song. He should be honored with much more heavy titles apart from the Maestro.

I am not a good singer but had very great interest in singing. I have practised Ponmalai Pozhudhu for a music competition and was prepared as a second voice, if the main person who used to sing it very well did not turn up. So, I know how difficult it is to sing that song. You have tried it well. But I feel you have gone a bit fast. Especially the starting punch ... idhu oru Ponm..a..l..ai...Pozhudu..... Otherwise it was a good attempt.
Technically you were there for Ilaiya Nila Pozhugiradhu. So my rating will be for the second one. Keep it up. Great! Still your Mannil indha Kadhalindri is ringing in my ears.

Thanks for those comments. Ponmaalai pozudhu should not have been sung without a practise :) which is what i did.
When seeing such songs on karaoke, singing it fast is overtaking than to sing it right. I need to hear the songs well and sing i guess :-)
