Paruthi veeran team(Ameer, Karthik(Suryas brother), Priya Mani, Yuvan) looks to be promising to me. The stills are catchy. The talent of Yuvan is becoming very prominent these days and his scoring for this total village subject is on high expectations. Yuvan has not scored for an authentic village based movie so far and i'm sure that he would have done a great job in it. I saw the audio release in indiaglitz and hearing the little bit sung by illayaraja, it gives a great hope t
o the songs and background score. Yuvan has found a definite spot and his fathers genes are slowly showing up in his tunes. 7G Rainbow colony was a masterpiece by Yuvan and it can be a long standing one like Illayrajas creations. Keep the good work Yuvan.Karthik also looks promising to me because of his clear tamil pronunciation. Ofcourse, sivakumars son should not have any problems speaking tamil. His voice resembles a lot of Surya's and he can for sure get some run in the industry. In some of the stills , he also resembles "உச்சி வகுந்தெடுத்து பிச்சி பூ பச்ச கிளி" sivakumar. The movie is said to be taken mostly (85%) in the village atmosphere and the photography is totally based on the natural light and no artificial lights have been used.
Ameer is a talented director who also strives for perfection and the stills are explaining it. I think Ameer is a big fan of Balumahendra that he is using a lot of natural light and is also casting Priya mani in the lead role.
I'm waiting for the movie and mostly interested to see sorry hear Yuvans music.

KMS, Priya Mani is also worth a mention. She is good-looking, can emote, and has shown promising acting talent. Even without makeup(as in this movie), she looks alluring. That is not something you can say of Nayan or Reema Sen or Jothika or any of the recent top actresses.
